More Caribbean Projects

  • Super Vivo: Our ministry takes pride in supporting the weekend art festival Super Vivo that meticulously curates a spectrum of artistic forms — from visual and performing arts to decorative and graphic arts — all centered around a profound Biblical worldview. The mission is to intricately weave the essence of the gospel into each art piece, sparking meaningful conversations within the community. Through these festivals, artists actively engage in the exploration and exposition of timeless truths, utilizing the language of art to convey the transformative messages inherent in a Biblical perspective. Join us in supporting the power of artistic expression to bring the gospel to life, fostering understanding and connection within the Cuban community.
the seed project
  • Seed Project: Sozo has initiated entrepreneurship incubator and mentoring programs in collaboration with men and women from diverse churches. Our overarching vision is to empower these individuals to ascend to leadership roles, becoming agents of positive change in all facets of society. We see them as the ‘Salt and Light,’ working to transform our nation.

  • Serving:  Sozo helps resource local humanitarian organizations, and volunteers.  They are the hands and feet of Jesus to the orphanages throughout Havana and outer provinces.  They also serve in the prison systems, children’s hospitals, abandoned elderly, young single mothers, and are on the front line for disaster relief.
  • Team Trips: We have facilitated more than 12 teams to deliver humanitarian, hygiene, and medical supplies to at-risk populations. Additionally, we have provided food to the elderly and widowed, and have supported and served orphan summer camps. Our teams have collaborated with other non-profits, such as ‘Soles for Souls,’ to distribute new athletic shoes. Moreover, we have organized Christmas events, where the Christmas Story is shared, and gifts are given to the children.
  • Vocational Training: We are currently developing programs in collaboration with local humanitarian organizations and orphanages to provide skills and professional training aimed at preventing the onset of poverty for individuals upon their departure from these homes at the age of 18. Unfortunately, the prevailing option for many of these young adults is engaging in illegal activities to sustain themselves, often leading to incarceration.
